Every year our church, Hope Baptist, hosts an old fashioned Memorial Day picnic. Our goal is to honor America's veterans, offer thanks to God for our freedom and be a blessing to the community. It's a day filled with patriotic speeches, special guests and veteran's war stories; there is food, fun, military jeep rides and games for the children. Last year was a wonderful day for us in the Orr family and we are looking forward to this year's celebration.
