We have a family tradition to allow the birthday child to pick the day's meal. When mom asked Elijah what he would like to eat for his birthday breakfast the next day, he answered without hesitation, "Birsday 'Nola," birthday granola. Mom laughed and said, "Alright!" The next day proved that Elijah really knew what he was talking about; on his birthday he plowed through three full bowls of "birsday 'nola." What a little piggy!
