Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

-Psalm 127:3 &4

Let's Pretend

The Trio - Robin Hood (aka, Matthew); Lady Marian (aka Susannah); and 'Little' John (aka Elijah)

Since watching The Adventures of Robin Hood, Matthew, Susannah, and Elijah have been inspired to sword play, chivalry, noble knighthood, and fair ladies. After dinner this evening, they proudly marched downstairs displaying their costumes and custom-made paper hats (crafted by Matthew, himself). They were very eager to pose for pictures, then proceeded to act out their new favorite movie in the living room.

Yep, that's Scotch-tape stuck to his head - Elijah's too. Matthew decided to tape their hats onto their heads, "Cause they don't fit." Matthew also insisted that I keep only the photos without his glasses - to be more authentic!

Once Dad came home from work, Elijah ran up to him and cried, "Hey Dad! Watch my best sword move! *A-tink-a-tink-a-tink* Ooo-aah! 'Den I die," he finished. All our boys come with their own sound effects. It's great.

Fair Lady Marian-Susannah. Susannah and Eleah made this crown out of cardboard, tinfoil, sequins and rubber bands. Pretty creative.

That is so cute and creative. Looks like they had a ton of fun that night.
