Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Celebrating Timothy's Life

My, oh my how the time does fly! It seemed we just finished celebrating (and quaking a little at) Tim's passage into "legal adulthood" when his next birthday came around. The new number is nineteen - his last teenage year. We're not sure whether to be glad or scared (just teasing you, Tim - we love you) - but we are thankful for the life of Timothy. Things would be very different and pretty dull without him.

Our constant clown.
I told Tim my camera was capturing a reflection of the candles over his shoulder, so he decided to play with it. Now it looks like birthday lights coming to greet him... or something like that.

(By the way- does anyone know how to keep those bright lights from reflecting in my camera? Another angle, perhaps?)

I don't think that we quite made nineteen candles for his cake - but they're bright, nonetheless!

Happy, silly brothers. Elijah and Tim.

Timothy, may "the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His continence upon you, and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

Have a happy, happy birthday and a blessed year! We love you, Tim.
