Once again, Timothy and I had the wonderful privileged help out with the NCFIC's national conference held at the Ridgecrest Conference Center, near Asheville, NC. This year was made extra special since Ethan was also able to join us - his job being to escort Mr. Bill Brown ('Gan' he is affectionately called) all over the center during our four-day stay.
Timothy had the same job as last year - helping the sound-crew and being general 'go-for', - while I has given the task of organizing the photography. This year was an extra large conference, featuring about 40 different speakers and over 50 messages - which equals hundreds of photographs! Thankfully, I had an amazing team of seven talented photographers and one excellent and dedicated blogger which made my job of managing and photo editing so much easier.

White Unto Harvest focused primarily on Christ's last words - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
The conference was wonderful - attended by 2,000+ people, there was no lack of Christian fellowship! Each of the messages were extremely inspiring and heartfelt. For every speaker I was able to listen to, it was evident that they were speaking on a subject close to their heart - the salvation and discipleship of souls for Christ's kingdom. How thankful I am for the labor of these men as they sought to bring the Word of God to us. I have tried (unsuccessfully) to come up with a list of my five favorite talks. I simply cannot do it! Each one that I have listened to - either in person or on audio - has impacted and blessed me in so many ways. During the conference, however, I was especially blessed to hear (and watch!) Kevin Swanson; Paul Washer; and Doug Phillips. The ministries and the wisdom from these leaders has been used by the Lord to bless both me and my family and I remember their specific messages particularly well.

One of the major benefits of attending these conferences is having the opportunity to see 'old' friends and meet new ones. It was such a pleasure to catch up with those people who I see only once or twice a year and to become acquainted with so many more! The fellowship was truly a blessing.

My only regret from the conference is that I did not take the opportunity to get a photo of Ethan, Tim, and I altogether (of poor Timothy, I have no photos!). Lord willing, next year our entire family will be able to attend the NCFIC's annual conference (The Worship of God - find more info about it here). I will have to remember to get a photo of everyone then!
