Our family is made up of readers. Each of us enjoys a good book as we have opportunity and we love family read-alouds.
Sometimes keeping up with the book demand can be challenging and book hunting can get rather pricey. However, a friend recently referred me to a website where you can find a multitude of titles and order books almost for free - www.PaperBackSwap.com. Even though the name specifically references paperbacks, all sorts of books are listed on this site, including hardcovers and audio books (there's also a separate DVD and CD swap). Members list the books they have and don't need and swap books back and forth using a credit system. You pay the shipping to send your books out to other members and receive books that you request at the sender's expense.
