Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Day 1- Jumonville Glen

Mr. Horn speaking to the group

Our third stop was to Jumonville Glen; appropriately named after a Frenchman by the name of Jumonville (I believe he was brother to one of the French Generals). Washington actually started the French and Indian war by attacking an encampment of French ‘ambassadors’. The French were made angry at Washington because of the attack and asked him why he attacked ambassadors but Washington asked why these so-called ambassadors were camped deep in the woods not out in the open as they should.
