Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Meet Lillian Victoria...

Or rather, Lillian Victoria’s doll.

Lillian Victoria is one of the brand new babies born to a family in our church. Although she has not yet met her, Jenna Beth is excited about this baby's arrival-so excited that she is going to make a doll for Lillian Victoria.

After watching her mama and two older sisters diligently work on dolls for their Etsyshop, Jenna Beth is eager to join them and has already made her first doll head. Mamma let her have an old stocking and Jenna packed the stuffing into it all by herself. She walks around the house, swinging the doll head round and round. She reminds us several times a day that this doll is for Lillian Victoria – so often has she repeated that name that she has become quite proficient in pronouncing it. She sleeps with Lillian Victoria’s doll and often asks when she can finish it. Unfortunately, we cannot locate Jenna Beth’s blue plastic needle, so for now the doll must wait

Jenna Beth does not seem to be much bothered by this though - and until that blue plastic sewing needle appears, we love to watch little Jenna Beth as she plays and dreams about the doll that will be.

I don't think Lillian Victoria minds either.
