And yet another blessed Memorial Day has passed!
Our church's annual celebration was a wonderful occasion, as it always is to us. Meemom and Jake came down for a fun-filled visit, joining us for the event and most of the children helped serve in various ways. Memorial Day is always a special time for us - and our whole church. Our only sadness was that Dad wasn't able to make it this year - his new job required him to be in the office that day. However, we are so thankful for him and his diligent attitude towards work. He is a wonderful husband, father, and role model.
This was our family's seventh time celebrating Memorial Day at the Brown's Farm. We'll mostly let the photos speak for themselves, with a few comments, here and there.
Uncle Jake, and Josiah-the-Intern - we were so glad to see him again!
Dan the Animal Man.
He brought so many incredible animals to this event - the owl (pictured above); an African porcupine; a lemur; and an alligator! Everyone loved his show - he was an excellent speaker with amazing 'props'. The best part - he explained how each animal was uniquely created and gives glory to God through it's amazing design.
