This past Friday and Saturday, we daughters and our dad joined our church at the annual Father-Daughter Retreat put on by and for Hope Baptist. We listened to Mr. Brown speak on the Twelve Pillars of Biblical Womanhood, participated in father-daughter unity games and attended a "High Tea" at the Brown's "Barn". We had a delightful time learning, having fun and enjoying each other's company.
We took our breakfast at the Olde English Tea Room of Wake Forest with the rest of our church

The younger girls dressed up with the Tea Room's hats and jewelry
The afternoon's games included shooting guns at targets labeled "Pride", "Ornamentalism", "Feminism", "Individualism" and "Entertainment". This game served as an example of the godly daughters and ladies waring against Biblical Womanhood's enemies.
Susannah thoroughly enjoyed shooting with dad's help
The second game was the blindfold game. The blindfolded daughter listened to and followed the voice commands of her father as he guided her through the maze. This symbolized how we as children and daughters must be listening to and obeying the counsel of our parents - particularly our fathers- as we make our way through life.
