After Memorial Day, each "Orrkid" was asked to tell about
their favorite parts of the event. Below are some of their answers.
"The thing I liked best about Memorial Day was serving the veterans [their food] in my new colonial dress that my mother made." - Eleah, age 9
"I liked the hay-ride in the big army-man truck." - Matthew, 6 1/2
"My favorite part was eating ice-cream and also the rides with my daddy." - Susannah, nearly 4 years
I think it is safe to say that Elijah (1 1/2 yrs.) loved the hush puppies!
