Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

A Blessed Time
Before visiting Grandfather, Dad had asked him to gather some photos and anything else to tell us all about some of our family history. What Grandfather unfolded for us all was far beyond our expectations - he traced his mother's family line all the way back to the 1600's in Switzerland! After visiting with a cousin of his, grandfather had several pages of genealogy and family history for us Orrs to read and discover.
After all this fascinating news (to us, anyways), Grandfather pulled out some old pictures including several of his mother, Mary Pauline Burns. We had never seen these photos of her and were very excited. I took some photographs of the photographs (chuckle) and edited them so that we could have some copies.
We had a simply wonderful visit with our Grandfather and Grandma Diane. As we drove back home to North Carolina we were so glad to have made the trip up to see them. The Lord truly blessed our travels and our visits with all our friends and family.
Meemom and Jake, the L. family, and Grandfather and Grandma Diane: Thank you so much for spending time with us!
