Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

From Matthew's Point of View...

When the midwives who assisted with Jenna's birth left for lunch, they took only one car, leaving the other in our driveway. Seeing the first car still here, one of the children got confused and asked where Mrs. B. (the primary midwife) was.

"Oh," said Matthew casually, "she left with her opponent in her opponent's car."

"Her opponent?"

"Yeah," responded Matthew nodding.

Thinking things over, the other child asked, "Do you mean she left with her assistant in her assistant's car?"

"Oh! Yeah, whatever," said Matthew lightly, as though there where no difference at all.
