Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

True to the Season

Today, it snowed. Really snowed. None of those little flurries we have seen now and again, no, this was the real stuff - the first we have seen since our move over two years ago.

The children spent nearly the whole day outdoors rolling in snow, building snowmen, sledding down a neighbor's hill, having snowball fights - in short, having some good, old fashioned fun. It is so nice for the younger ones to enjoy the same sort of winter days we older children had in New Jersey where snow is less of a rarity.

Susannah's hiding under there somewhere!
We bundled them up nice 'n warm
