Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

The Aquarium

More highlights from our beach vacation- a visit to Fort Fisher's Aquarium. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves... mostly.

Left to Right: Timothy; Eleah; Susannah; Matthew (scratching his head...hmm); Dad; and Ethan

"Looks like bacon," commented Dad when he saw this photo

Elijah and Susannah, on either side of Eleah, shield their faces from the sun... or else they're saluting...something

I liked the Aquarium best. We walked in the Aquarium and it was a little fun 'cause they had doors that we could go downstairs, but not from the steps (editor's note: Elijah is referring to the elevator). I sat on the wall where you could look up at the fish and the pennies in the water (editor's note: Elijah is talking of the 'wishing pond' outside the Aquarium with metal statues of fish). The real fish were fun to look at, they were lots of different colors.
- Elijah, age almost 4

Matthew said he liked the albino alligator best of all.

Staring at some most bizarre and unusual creatures...

The alligators seemed to flock towards Timothy - three different ones crossed their tank in three separate areas to come look at him.
Tim didn't know he was the exhibit here!
