Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Our Little Beach Baby

Ehh... not so much...

Jenna Beth was thoroughly disgusted with the sand and none too pleased with the ocean either. She was rather frightened by the loud waves splashing onto the beach and clung like a little monkey to whomever held her. She didn't want to walk on the dry sand either; like at least one sister before her, Jenna Beth would curl up her feet and whimper to be picked back up again. Not a happy camper. She was only satisfied when sitting in our little cabana, on top of a boogie board, or - best of all - someone's lap.

Jenna Beth was quite happy to dig in the sand with a shovel, splash in the water brought to her in a bucket, and watch everyone else run around in the sand and ocean, so long as she did not have to touch it herself.
