Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Day 4- Brandywine Battlefield

Brandywine Battlefield was first on Thursday's schedule and it was very chilly. We had to walk up a steep hill to the battlefield from where the buses had dropped us off. At the top of the hill a lovely gray stone house stood. Here, Joshua Horn spoke on some of the specifics of the battle.

We ambled around the property, looked in the gift shop, and simply took our time. Compared to the last few days, this day's schedule was quite relaxed, with only three stops scheduled for the entire day.
