Mount Vernon is one of the most beautiful and relaxing place to visit - I think it is one of our families favorite places. At this stop, we were given the liberty to amble around the property before meeting again for a talk on the green behind the Washington's mansion. We enjoyed a really informative tour of the house - the decorations were so lovely (and some quite unique), - the only downside was that no photography was allowed.
