Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

The Silly Things A Sister Will Do...

And now, a brief break from our never-ending LOW tour posts....

Today's lunch menu was grilled cheese.

Elijah - who has a slight allergy to milk - wondered what he would eat.

"I'm so hungry!" Elijah whined to Eleah - today's lunch helper.
"Don't worry," the patient sister replied, "I'm making you an almond butter sandwich."
"Yeah," I added, jokingly, "Grilled almond butter!"
"Bekah, " Josiah put in, "Grilled almond butter? Nuh, uh."
"Wanna bet?"

Several minutes later, Elijah still had no sandwich.

"Eleah... I'm hungry!"
"Eleah!" I began to admonish, "Where is his sandwich? You were supposed to make it."
" I did!" came the reply, "It's grilling!"
"What?!"

Lo, and behold, there sat the sandwich in the press - a grilled almond butter sandwich. Silly, silly, girl.

I asked Elijah how his sandwich tasted.

"Um, a little bit good," he answered, nodding his head as though to convince himself.

We don't recommend the recipe.

Just goes to show, one needs to be careful while joking around little ears! How funny! I love Elijah's comment of the sandwich's being "a little bit good!"
