Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Day 6 - Yorktown Battlefield

The final day of our tour was a trip to Yorktown Battlefield. We visited the Redoubt Ten and Surrender Field. At Redoubt Ten, one of the men on the tour gave a crash course to all the boys on marching in uniform. Then all of the “Colonials” (the sons) made a mini charge towards the “British” (the fathers).

We headed onto the buses for a trip to Surrender Field. Unfortunately, we were dropped a mile or so away from a destination by mistake, and had to walk the rest of the way. It was a pretty walk though. At the end of our time we finished up the tour with a final lunch at the Golden Corral. The treasure hunt winners were announced, with the grand prize going to Timothy H. Then we finished our good meal in time for a long trip home.
